As a Zeta teacher, you are the owner and driver of your certification journey. In order to teach at Zeta, you must become a NY State certified teacher (If you are not one already).
Touro University Trans-B Program Application and Certification Guide
Uncertified Resident, Head and Science Teachers will be enrolling in Touro University’s Trans-B program. Certification Reimbursement (Touro Trans-B entering Fall 2024 Students Only)
Zeta will reimburse Touro Trans-B students entering the Touro cohort for the following costs:

The cost of 1 three-part Multi-Subject exam (1 of each part), provided the student passes the exam part(s)

The cost of 1 EAS exam, if you receive a passing score, provided the student passes the exam

The cost of a general education Trans-B certificate

The cost of the Students with Disabilities (SWD) Trans-B certificate.
The maximum amount a teacher can be reimbursed is $341.

All receipts must be submitted by October 6th by using the form linked below. All receipts must include your name, the date of purchase, and amount.

Exam dates and certification applications must be between the day you signed your offer letter and October 6th.

Receipts may only be submitted for exams that have a passing score, or Trans-B certificates.

If you will not receive your score report for your exam before October 6th, you may submit your receipt without knowing if you passed.

If you submit your certification application receipt before October 6th, you will be reimbursed once your certification is issued.
4. You will be reimbursed in a future paycheck, most likely in October or November, depending when your score is released or when your certification is issued.
