How do I access Paycom?You received an email from Paycom with the link to your Paycom self-onboarding. Please refer to that email to access Paycom, or reach out here if you have not received an email.

What do I do if I do not have an NY/NJ address yet?If you do not have a permanent New York or New Jersey address yet, you can enter the address of a family member or friend that lives in New York or New Jersey. If you do not have an address to use as a placeholder, please add your current out-of-state address. You MUST update your address in Paycom to your permanent New York or New Jersey address as soon as you have one. Full instructions to update your address in Paycom can be found here.

What documents are acceptable for Form I-9 verification?You must provide either: One ‘List A’ document (e.g., Passport), OR One ‘List B’ document (e.g., Driver’s License) AND one ‘List C’ document (e.g., Social Security Card) A full list of acceptable documents can be found here

If I have been fingerprinted by the NYC Department of Education (NYC DOE) / NYS Education Department (NYSED), do I need to be fingerprinted again?If you have been fingerprinted with the NYC DOE, please notify People Operations and refer to this guide to transfer your fingerprints to NYSED.

How do I schedule my fingerprinting appointment?Visit IdentoGo and add your information. Enter this service code: 14ZGQT Make an appointment for the EARLIEST possible date. Please be flexible with location in order to book the earliest possible appointment.

I need to be fingerprinted but I reside outside of New York. How do I get fingerprinted?There are many IdentoGo locations outside New York that process fingerprints for the New York State Education Department (NYSED). While booking an appointment on the website, enter “14ZGQT” as the service code. The system then returns locations that process fingerprints for NYSED. You must visit one of these locations in order to have your fingerprints properly processed.

Do I need to pay out of pocket for the appointment?No! At your appointment, present your Fingerprinting Voucher Code to the IdentoGo staff to cover the cost of your appointment. Check your inbox for an urgent onboarding deliverables email from People Operations with your Fingerprinting Voucher Code in early May.

What if I forget my voucher? Will I need to pay out of pocket?If you forget your voucher, pay out of pocket for your appointment and notify People Operations. Zeta will reimburse you for the cost of your appointment in your first paycheck.

How do I clear alerts on my background check?Checkr may email you requesting that you upload additional documents to verify your employment and education history. You must then upload the below supporting documents, depending on the alert: For Employment Verification alerts: Upload a copy of one of the following documents: Your most recent pay stub from your previous employer Your most recent W-2 from your previous employer For Education Verification alerts: Upload a copy of one of the following documents: Diploma Screenshot of student portal indicating the number of credits you have completed and your graduation date i.e. Verification of Credits, Grade Report Letter from the university bursar’s office confirming that you have completed the requirements for your degree and have graduated

When can I enroll in benefits?You can enroll in benefits via Paycom starting on your first day of work. You will have 30 days from your first day to complete your benefits enrollment. Please refer to the below resources for more details on your benefits. Comprehensive Benefits Enrollment Guide Quick Guide: Summary of Benefits Note that some links within the guide will not become available to you until after your first day!

Does Zeta offer a retirement plan?Zeta offers a 403(b) retirement savings plan with Vanguard Retirement Savings, through which you can save for your retirement with pre-tax or post-tax (Roth 403(b)) dollars. Please refer to the Retirement Plan Guide for more details about the retirement plan through Vanguard. Highlights: All employees are automatically enrolled in the retirement plan at 3% for pre-tax contributions, beginning on your first day of work. i.e. if you are hired on 7/22/24, you will be automatically enrolled in the retirement plan at 3% as of 7/22/24 Zeta matches up to 3% of contributions for all employees over the age of 21, beginning on the first of the quarter following your hire date. i.e. if you are hired on 7/22/24, you will become eligible for the match on 10/1/24 You can login and manage your retirement plan account at https://my.vanguardplan.com beginning on your first day of work.

How often do I get paid?You will be paid twice per month. All Zeta employees are paid on the 15th and last day of the month. If a pay day falls on a weekend or holiday, you will be paid on the nearest preceding business day.

Do teachers get paid over the summer?Yes, teachers will get paid through the summer so long as they work through the last day of school.

When will I find out about my school placement?We understand that finding out your school placement is important and exciting! School placements will be determined during your onboarding process and will be communicated to you as soon as possible. We strive to accommodate placement preferences while also considering the needs of each school.

When will I find out about my grade placement?Knowing which grade you will teach is so exciting! At Zeta, we do not typically assign grades until Summer Zeta University (“SZU”), or until you start at Zeta. Your school leadership team will want to get to know you better to see which grade team would best suit your skill set.

I'm currently enrolled in graduate school. Do I need to transfer to Touro?If you are currently enrolled in a graduate school program, you must immediately send proof of your enrollment to peopleops@zetaschools.org and certification@zetaschools.org. An unofficial transcript can serve as proof of enrollment. Once Zeta reviews your proof of enrollment, we will be in touch to confirm whether you will need to apply to Touro.

I haven't received my Touro application yet. Can I begin my certification deliverables?Yes! You can get started on certification deliverables. Touro applications will be open in late spring, and we will send the link to your email on file. Do I need to transfer to Touro?If you are currently enrolled in a graduate school program, you must immediately send proof of your enrollment to peopleops@zetaschools.org and certification@zetaschools.org. An unofficial transcript can serve as proof of enrollment. Once Zeta reviews your proof of enrollment, we will be in touch to confirm whether you will need to apply to Touro.

What do I do if I do not have an NY/NJ address yet?If you do not have a permanent New York or New Jersey address yet, you can enter the address of a family member or friend that lives in New York or New Jersey. If you do not have an address to use as a placeholder, please add your current out-of-state address. You MUST update your address in Paycom to your permanent New York or New Jersey address as soon as you have one. Full instructions to update your address in Paycom can be found here.

If I have been fingerprinted by the NYC Department of Education (NYC DOE) / NYS Education Department (NYSED), do I need to be fingerprinted again?If you have been fingerprinted with the NYC DOE, please notify People Operations and refer to this guide to transfer your fingerprints to NYSED.

How do I schedule my fingerprinting appointment?Visit IdentoGo and add your information. Enter this service code: 14ZGQT Make an appointment for the EARLIEST possible date. Please be flexible with location in order to book the earliest possible appointment.

I need to be fingerprinted but I reside outside of New York. How do I get fingerprinted?There are many IdentoGo locations outside New York that process fingerprints for the New York State Education Department (NYSED). While booking an appointment on the website, enter “14ZGQT” as the service code. The system then returns locations that process fingerprints for NYSED. You must visit one of these locations in order to have your fingerprints properly processed.

Do I need to pay out of pocket for the appointment?No! At your appointment, present your Fingerprinting Voucher Code to the IdentoGo staff to cover the cost of your appointment. Check your inbox for an urgent onboarding deliverables email from People Operations with your Fingerprinting Voucher Code in early May.

What if I forget my voucher? Will I need to pay out of pocket?If you forget your voucher, pay out of pocket for your appointment and notify People Operations. Zeta will reimburse you for the cost of your appointment in your first paycheck.

How do I clear alerts on my background check?Checkr may email you requesting that you upload additional documents to verify your employment and education history. You must then upload the below supporting documents, depending on the alert: For Employment Verification alerts: Upload a copy of one of the following documents: Your most recent pay stub from your previous employer Your most recent W-2 from your previous employer For Education Verification alerts: Upload a copy of one of the following documents: Diploma Screenshot of student portal indicating the number of credits you have completed and your graduation date i.e. Verification of Credits, Grade Report Letter from the university bursar’s office confirming that you have completed the requirements for your degree and have graduated

When can I enroll in benefits?You can enroll in benefits via Paycom starting on your first day of work. You will have 30 days from your first day to complete your benefits enrollment. Does Zeta offer a retirement plan?Zeta offers a 403(b) retirement savings plan with Vanguard Retirement Savings, through which you can save for your retirement with pre-tax or post-tax (Roth 403(b)) dollars. Please refer to the Retirement Plan Guide for more details about the retirement plan through Vanguard. Highlights: All employees are automatically enrolled in the retirement plan at 3% for pre-tax contributions, beginning on your first day of work. i.e. if you are hired on 7/22/24, you will be automatically enrolled in the retirement plan at 3% as of 7/22/24 Zeta matches up to 3% of contributions for all employees over the age of 21, beginning on the first of the quarter following your hire date. i.e. if you are hired on 7/22/24, you will become eligible for the match on 10/1/24 You can login and manage your retirement plan account at https://my.vanguardplan.com beginning on your first day of work.

How often do I get paid?You will be paid twice per month. All Zeta employees are paid on the 15th and last day of the month. If a pay day falls on a weekend or holiday, you will be paid on the nearest preceding business day.

Do teachers get paid over the summer?Yes, teachers will get paid through the summer so long as they work through the last day of school.

When will I find out about my school placement?We understand that finding out your school placement is important and exciting! School placements will be determined during your onboarding process and will be communicated to you as soon as possible. We strive to accommodate placement preferences while also considering the needs of each school.
